Our Practitioners
Anna Bunda, BA (Psychology), ND (Naturopathic Doctor)
Anna's focus is integrative in that she combines nutritional counseling, botanicals, detoxification, drainage, homeopathic prescribing, food intolerance/allergy assessment, organ assessment via EAV and the Bowen Technique depending on the individual's specific needs. The goal is physical, emotional and physiological balancing when treating chronic and acute conditions.
Anna obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1990 from Carleton University. In 1995, she received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine designation from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON.
Anna was born and raised in the Ottawa region and has been practicing here for over 20 years.
She is an active member of the Canadian and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N) in Ontario.
Anna earned her fellowship with The Canadian Academy of Homeopathy in 1999 under the direction of Dr. Andre Saine. This is a three-year post-graduate program in advanced homeopathic prescribing for health professionals. Working towards a more thorough understanding of how she can deeply affect a person's health on all levels she has also worked with other esteemed naturopathic and osteopathic doctors.
Anna has been invited to speak about the profession and how it relates to certain health conditions for a variety of associations such as Prostate Cancer, Women's Issues, Multiple Sclerosis Support Groups and local media.
Due to the detrimental effect of inefficient elimination of toxic and foreign substances, Anna has a concerned interest in how we can change this efficiency with deep organ drainage and detoxification.
Bowen Therapy is the main physical therapy Anna has been using since 1995 to aid in correcting physical imbalances and for pain relief.
Dr. Anna uses computerized technology to more efficiently assess organ distress and thus give more individualized support. It is exciting since the goal is to decrease incidences of chronic degenerative diseases and to peel away layers of toxicity from years past. Follow-ups are important to re-assess and monitor organ recovery.
Most importantly, Anna considers her practice to be a channel of God’s love through Jesus Christ.
